And the winners are...

We had an another amazing response to our art competition this year and such great feedback from the families who got involved.

The theme this year was 'The World I Love' which evoked different feelings and thoughts in the young artists. Some artists made personal journeys, their art giving an insight into their private worlds, other young artists had environmental statements to make. One common theme was a love animals in the world, it certainly seems protecting our world and animals is something very important to our youth!

This bold and beautiful self expression can be seen in our exhibition at our Closter store.

The selected finalists ranged from age 5-15, their art can be seen here above, all their art has been framed and features in the exhibition, they will all receive a Certificate of Artistic Excellence, the 6 runner's up will also receive a dessert selection box and the 1st prize winner receives a $100 gift voucher.

Once again we were inspired by the talent of our youth and over whelmed by the community spirit, families have been so supportive of the event, the general consensus is that it has been a positive experience, here are some of our favorite parent comments:

'Thanks for what you are doing!!! It’s so great for kids!!!' Elena

'Heartfelt gratitude. Kudos to all the kids who participated and sincere Thanks to the Patisserie Florentine for promoting the kids masterpieces. Please keep us posted on the future competitions. It means a lot of the kids and parents. The power and discipline that they exercise in creating these wonderful pieces, trains them for their future assignments.' Swati

'So many thanks for the opportunity to take part in this competition, which helps our kids to create and to express their feelings.' Julia

We would like to thank Eleonor Van Gelder School, North Highlands High School, One River School, Palisades Park Jr/Sr School, Rafael De J Cordero School and Stevens Cooperative School for encouraging their students to enter the competition.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to Aleona's Art Studio, Master Art Studio and Paint Zone, these three local art clubs have shown such amazing support, art clubs are so important to young art enthusiasts, they encourage young talents to be confident in their abilities and teach them skills so they can be even brighter young stars!

We are very grateful for the collective support of the schools, clubs, parents and children who entered our competition we look forward to the next competition, until then we will enjoy the richness of the art on our walls! And the winners of PF Art Competition 2020 are...
